Our client, a national, non-profit organization, has an immediate opening for a Service Delivery Manager to join its IT team. The successful candidate will provide cost-effective desktop solutions, drive standards and provide superior desktop service to all internal clients across the organization. Other aspects of the role include managing relationships with key corporate business partners, providing excellent customer service and technology leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a high level of customer service to internal customers
• Ensure the integrity, reliability and recoverability of infrastructure and its systems
• Identify technical needs of assigned area, prioritize and provide recommendations for appropriate cost effective solutions driving standards across the organization
• Responsible for providing appropriate time tracking, trend analysis, work breakdown reporting and other measurements for assigned areas
• Deliver service in accordance with ITIL best practices:  Incident, Release and Change , Problem Management
• Provide leadership, direction, guidance, performance reviews to team members
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with 3rd party partners and internal teams

Experience & Education

• Four years managing Desktop Management solutions / implementation within a corporate environment
• 5+ years plus experience in managing networks, servers, database systems or other infrastructural based technologies within a corporate environment
• 4+  years managing a team or experience leading others
• Three years experience with security, antivirus and spyware software
• 3+ years preparing and managing budgets
• Two years experience in Active Directory design and implementation
• ITIL certification – Foundations V3 with three years relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Four years college degree in Computer Science or related field
