The role requires the following:

• Experience developing and architecting solutions using Cognos 8 or higher
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data analysis
• Strong performance tuning abilities
• Experience working with both Oracle 10g+ and SQL Server 2005+
• Solid SQL skills
• Must be willing to provide support to administrators and troubleshoot issues
• Strong understanding and application of industry best-practices
• Experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable

Additional Requirements:

• 8 years progressive experience with the Cognos suite
• Minimum 3 years as a BI architect, preferably with Cognos
• Demonstrated hands on experience with at least 3 full life cycle Cognos BI projects
